CLIMATE CHANGE & RANGE SHIFTS

Climate change is altering species ranges as populations move in an attempt to track climate to which they are suited. This is a general pattern and we are exploring its consequences in terms of altered predation patterns (killer whales and narwhals), secondary contact between recently diverged species (flying squirrel hybridization), and recently with ecosystem-level change (salmon moving into the Arctic).
